Job summary

Legence seeks an experienced Project Estimator to join our electrical construction team. You will manage estimating from preconstruction through closeout, with a focus on healthcare and commercial projects.

Reporting to the Electrical Division Manager, you will develop cost estimates, analyze plans, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers. Strong change management and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for electrical construction projects and preconstruction work.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher in a related field; equivalent industry experience accepted.
• Proficiency with MS Office and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial and healthcare projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Analyze plans and specifications to develop cost estimates.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Develop bid proposals and support project pursuits.
• Maintain estimating files and cost databases.
• Coordinate change control and project handoffs.
