Job summary

RESA Power, LLC in Wixom, MI is seeking an Estimator to support our sales staff with project quotes and pricing. You will prepare a bill of materials and cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements, communicating with departments, vendors, employees, and customers to ensure estimates are completed on time and paperwork is correct.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, strong blueprint reading, AutoCAD and MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or experience equivalency and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints, schematics, parts lists, and technical materials.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements; creates BOMs, orders materials, and approves invoices.
• Performs takeoffs and estimates; creates proposals and follows up on bids.
• Coordinates work with Sales staff, project managers and General Manager; ensures paperwork meets requirements.
