Job summary

G&E Partners is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and bidding on high-profile Texas electrical projects. The candidate will read drawings, prepare take-offs, price labor and materials, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.

Ideal applicants have 5+ years in electrical construction estimating and are familiar with Accubid, Bluebeam, ConEst, and McCormick. Local Texas market knowledge or willingness to relocate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support full preconstruction and estimating process, including reviewing bid documents.
• Complete take-offs, price labor and materials, coordinate vendor quotations and assist with bid submissions across complex electrical projects.

Job description

G&E Partners is partnered with a leading electrical sub-contractor in Texas that is actively expanding their project teams due to a strong and long-term project backlog. They are delivering some of the most high-profile projects in Texas and are looking to bring on an Electrical Estimator to help carry out these projects.

Requirements:

A driven Electrical Estimator with the following background:

• At least 5 years’ experience supporting electrical construction projects, ideally with an electrical subcontractor.
• Local to the Texas market, or open to relocating.
• Experience preparing take-offs, pricing labor and materials, reviewing bid documents, and supporting competitive tender submissions.
• Exposure to commercial, government, educational, hospitality, residential, industrial, or mission critical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-lines, panel schedules, and project scopes.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, ConEst, McCormick, or similar platforms.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure accurate bid coverage.
