Job summary

G&E Partners is seeking an Electrical Estimator in Miami to assist with preconstruction and bid preparation on high-profile Florida projects. You will analyze drawings, prepare take-offs, price labor and materials, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.

You'll work closely with Chief Estimators and gain exposure to complex electrical packages across commercial, government, educational, hospitality, and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience supporting electrical construction projects.
• Locally based in Miami/South Florida or willing to relocate.
• Experience pricing labor and materials, taking-offs, bid submissions.
• Familiarity with various project types (commercial/government/education).

Job description

G&E Partners is partnered with a leading electrical sub-contractor in Florida that is actively expanding their project teams due to a strong and long-term project backlog. They are delivering some of the most high-profile projects in South Florida and are looking to bring on an Electrical Estimator to help carry out these projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to complex construction projects while working directly with experienced Chief Estimators.

Requirements:

• At least 1 years’ experience supporting electrical construction projects, ideally with an electrical subcontractor.
• Local to the Miami / South Florida market, or open to relocating.
• Experience preparing take-offs, pricing labor and materials, reviewing bid documents, and supporting competitive tender submissions.
• Exposure to commercial, government, educational, hospitality, residential, industrial, or mission critical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-lines, panel schedules, and project scopes.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, ConEst, McCormick, or similar platforms.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure accurate bid coverage.
