Job summary

Blayze Group in Houston is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its growing team. You will estimate technically detailed commercial projects, focusing on quality, accuracy and coordination with GCs, vendors and the operations team.

The ideal candidate has strong plan and specification reading, bid preparation experience and knowledge of interiors, TI, retail or similar projects.

• Strong plan and specification reading and takeoff ability.
• Experience preparing competitive bids and completing electrical scopes.
• Knowledge of commercial interiors, TI, retail or similar projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimate technically detailed commercial electrical projects.
• Coordinate with GCs, vendors and operations teams to ensure accurate scopes.

I’m partnering with a growing commercial electrical contractor in Houston that is looking to add an experienced Electrical Estimator to its team.

This isn’t your typical electrical contractor.

The company has built a strong reputation delivering high-end commercial projects, with particular expertise across luxury retail, Class A interiors, tenant improvements, restaurants and hospitality.

You’ll be estimating technically detailed projects where quality, accuracy and coordination matter – working with established general contractors and some seriously impressive end clients.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong plan & specification reading / takeoff ability
• Experience preparing competitive bids and complete electrical scopes
• Knowledge of commercial interiors, TI, retail or similar projects
• Understanding of lighting, controls, power distribution and associated electrical systems
• Someone who can work closely with GCs, vendors and the operations team
