Job summary

GPAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for a well-established local electrical contractor in the St. Louis area. The role focuses on developing accurate, competitive bids for local commercial and industrial projects.

You will review drawings and bid documents, perform material and labor takeoffs, and solicit supplier pricing while coordinating with Project Managers and leadership. A strong local market understanding and software experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction background.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical materials, labor, and installation methods.
• Experience with Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the local electrical construction market is a plus.

A well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Estimator to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for someone who can help develop accurate and competitive bids.

This is a great opportunity for an estimator who wants to work with a local contractor and focus on projects in the local market rather than constantly chasing work across different regions.
