Job Title: ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will analyze project specifications, conduct site visits, and provide accurate estimates and bids for electrical installations, primarily in automotive settings. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand electrical requirements.
2. Conduct site visits to assess project scope, identify challenges, and gather relevant information.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to determine project needs and goals.
4. Prepare detailed electrical estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
5. Use estimating software, industry standards, and historical data to calculate project costs accurately.
6. Identify risks, contingencies, and value engineering opportunities.
7. Work with procurement teams to obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
8. Prepare comprehensive proposals and bids for clients.
9. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and negotiations as needed.
10. Assist in project handover by providing accurate documentation and cost breakdowns.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, especially in the auto industry OEM projects; Tesla experience is a plus.
3. Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations relevant to Aconex and construction/engineering is a plus.
4. Strong analytical and mathematical skills for precise cost calculations.
5. Proficiency in electrical estimating software and relevant tools.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
8. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
9. Knowledge of procurement processes and evaluating subcontractor quotes.
10. Familiarity with project management principles and working within timelines.
