Job summary

Slifco Electric in Missouri is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join the Estimating team. This full-time role focuses on producing accurate bids for industrial projects, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with leadership during preconstruction to shape project strategy before work begins.

You will perform detailed take-offs, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and identify risks while maintaining clear estimate documentation and supporting smooth handoffs to operations after award.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience or strong electrical construction background.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating software platforms.
• Data Center project experience preferred.
• Accubid experience preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred.

We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations.

As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in helping Slifco Electric secure successful projects by delivering accurate, competitive, and well-structured estimates.

You’ll collaborate closely with leadership and project teams during preconstruction while helping shape project strategy before the first wire is ever pulled.

• Accubid experience (preferred).
• Journeyman Electrician License (preferred).
• Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude.
