We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in South Bend, IN. This on-site, full-time role involves preparing and managing comprehensive estimates for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with electrical contractors and engineering teams, implement effective cost-control measures, and ensure project specifications and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and budgets for electrical construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the estimating process.
• Monitor material and labor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement budget controls.
• Stay updated on industry standards, electrical codes, and pricing trends.
• Support the engineering team with cost analysis and project planning.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Electrical Estimating and Cost Control.
• Strong background in Electrical Contracting and understanding of Electrical Systems.
• Solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles.
• Proficient in estimating software, particularly Accubid.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in the construction or electrical industry is highly desirable.
