Jobot in Chandler, AZ seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our project teams. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems on construction projects, review blueprints, and collaborate with engineers, architects and clients to ensure competitive, accurate bids.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical estimating, strong numerical and communication skills, and a degree in a relevant field; professional certification is a plus.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Estimating or a similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficient in reading and understanding electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, products, and safety standards.
• Excellent numerical skills and the ability to prepare accurate estimates.
• Familiarity with project management and estimating software.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have a high level of accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new product developments, and the price of materials and labor.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement electrical safety standards throughout all stages of project development.
• Provide technical support and advice to project teams, as needed.
• Regularly review and compare actual project costs against estimates and identify reasons for discrepancies.
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client consultations as required.
