Job summary

Facilico, Inc. is recruiting an Electrical Estimator in the United States to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage bids, prepare takeoffs and quotes, and draft proposals, interfacing with project managers for pricing changes.

Five to seven years in electrical estimation and proficiency reading blueprints are required. Strong communication, MS Office skills, and a team-oriented attitude are essential. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years as an electrical estimator (senior or junior).
• Proven track record as a successful estimator.
• Familiarity with electrical industry and HVAC controls is advantageous.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process all new bid opportunities with timely, accurate bids.
• Prepare takeoffs, material quotes, and cost projection reports.
• Draft customer proposals and price change orders with PMs.
• Summarize and communicate information for project management and field techs.
• Proficient in CAE software; ConEst is a plus.
• Maintain records on each prospective project.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

Growing established electrical contracting firm located in Woburn, MA that specializes in commercial electric and HVAC control wiring is actively seeking an Electrical Estimator to join the team! The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Manage and process all new incoming bid opportunities to ensure timely and accurate bids.
• Prepare takeoffs, material quotes, generate cost projections reports, and maintain records on each prospective project.
• Draft customer proposals and interface with project managers for change orders pricing.
• Summarize and communicate information for project management and field technicians.
• Proficient in computer aided estimating software, Conest a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to correspond with owners, salespeople, and colleagues in a professional manner.
• Must have strong computer skills and familiar with general Microsoft applications.
• Must be proficient reading blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
• Must be a team player and willing to help in all aspects of the organization to ensure success.

Position Requirements

• Five to seven years working as a senior or junior electrical estimator position.
• Proven track record as a successful estimator.
• Knowledge or familiarity with all aspects of electrical industry with HVAC controls being advantageous.

Education

• Trade license and/or work experience in the electrical field.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Fluency in English both verbal and written.
