Job summary

Vylor is seeking a skilled maintenance electrician to join our Corteva site team. You will ensure reliable operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems in a high-demand production environment.

You will perform repairs, inspections, and support the electrical safety program, maintaining equipment records and working with SAP for work orders. This role requires OT and weekend shifts during peak production periods.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with proven maintenance experience in production environments.
• Knowledge of electrical safety programs and compliance with OSHA/PSM guidelines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read prints and maintain records.
• Experience with SAP work orders and parts inventory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, and inspect electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control devices for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections following guidelines.
• Support safety programs and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and procedures.
• Recommend improvements to electrical systems and equipment, including new devices.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints; climb and work in elevated areas; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, for process and facility
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures
• Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance
• Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva’s safety procedures in everyday work routine
• Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the addition of new devices, and hardware
• Journeyman Electrical experience
• You are comfortable with technology and possess good a computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required
• Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand, and sit for extended periods, Work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to 50 lbs. You are willing and able to maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required
• You will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day
• You value serving our customers and know operations must be supported for optimal uptime. You are willing and able to work overtime and shift hours, which include weekends and holidays during seasonal peaks to support production demand
• Experience with a work order and part inventory system
• Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
• Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, Motors and Gearmotors, instrumentation and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience)
• Experience with an SAP (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory

Site Dedicated (100% at Corteva location)

• ~ This role will be on-site at our Corteva location in St. Four weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidays

The salary range for this position is $74,457.00 to $82,730.00. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Corteva announced to separate our current advanced seed and genetics business to establish a standalone company, operating as Vylor, Inc. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to legal requirements and board approval. employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.
