Job summary

Vylor is seeking an on-site maintenance electrician to join our team at Corteva's St. Four location. You will ensure operation and reliability of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control systems for process equipment and facilities.

You will perform electrical repairs, troubleshoot issues, conduct inspections, and maintain detailed equipment records while adhering to safety policies and procedures. Weekend and overtime availability is required during seasonal peaks.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical experience.
• Experience with a work order and part inventory system.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Experience with an SAP (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control devices for processes and facilities.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting and inspections per guidelines.
• Support safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, PSM and Corteva procedures.
• Record equipment data and generate required prints and reports.
• Work overtime and weekends during peak production periods.

Responsibilities

Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, for process and facilityPerform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and proceduresReview and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and complianceAdhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and Corteva’s safety procedures in everyday work routineMake recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the addition of new devices, and hardwareJourneyman Electrical experienceYou are comfortable with technology and possess good a computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as requiredClimb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand, and sit for extended periods, Work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to 50 lbs. You are willing and able to maintain detailed equipment records and prints as requiredYou will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every dayYou value serving our customers and know operations must support for optimal uptime. You are willing and able to work overtime and shift hours, which include weekends and holidays during seasonal peaks to support production demand.

Experience

Experience with a work order and part inventory systemKnowledge and/or experience with Automation and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)Previous industrial maintenance work production equipment - electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, Motors and Gearmotors, instrumentation and controls, HVAC, and general maintenance experience).Experience with an SAP (or similar system) for work orders and parts inventory.

Salary and Bonus

The salary range for this position is $74,457.00 to $82,730.00.

This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Corteva announced to separate our current advanced seed and genetics business to establish a standalone company, operating as Vylor, Inc. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to legal requirements and board approval. employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans.
