Job summary

Vylor is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our on-site maintenance team at the Corteva facility in Illinois. You will operate and service electrical, mechanical, and control systems, ensuring uptime and safe operation across production equipment.

You will work with PLCs and automation, maintain records, and support safety and environmental compliance while occasionally doing overtime during peak production periods.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical experience.
• Experience with PLCs and automation systems.
• Industrial maintenance background: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC.
• Experience with SAP for work orders and parts inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control devices.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections.
• Review safety programs and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
• Adhere to quality systems and safety procedures (OSHA, PSM).
• Recommend improvements to safety through electrical and process changes.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints as required.

The salary range for this position is $74,457.00 to $82,730.00.

This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Corteva announced to separate our current advanced seed and genetics business to establish a standalone company, operating as Vylor, Inc.
