Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group seeks an Electrical Engineering Technician to support capital projects and deliver reliable automation solutions for manufacturing clients. You will work with a team of industry experts to validate engineered solutions and ensure seamless handoffs across engineering and production.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related industrial automation fabrication experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware is a plus but not a requirement.
• A Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Validate engineered solutions.
• Collect entire design packages and build packages.
• Act as liaison between Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Schedule and execute engineering and manufacturing handoff meetings.
• Create Bills of Materials for non-engineered solutions.
• Interface with client and distributor representatives.
• Research alternate electrical components to optimize delivery, design, and cost.
• Assist in designing custom Industrial Control Panels based on specified criteria.
