Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group seeks an Electrical Engineering Technician to join ControlTech Automation in Missouri. You will work with a team of industry experts on capital projects, validating engineered solutions and building robust electrical systems for world-class clients.

Responsibilities include creating Bills of Materials, coordinating with Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing, and researching alternative components to optimize delivery, design, and cost.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related industrial automation fabrication experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware is a plus but not required.

You will partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients.

• Validate Engineered solutions
• Collect entire design packages and build packages

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ year(s) of related industrial automation fabrication experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of systems.
• This position requires the ability to successfully execute multiple project responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
• This position supports the entire engineering team and reports directly to the Engineering Manager.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware and networks is a plus but not a requirement.
• A Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements Regional travel may be required on a sporadic basis to support regional projects and activities.
