Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to support component-level troubleshooting in production and test fixture maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers to troubleshoot issues and assist in preparing technical documentation. This role requires hands-on experience with test equipment and instrumentation, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Job Responsibilities
  • Involved with evaluation and modification of test software that measures the functionality and integrity of products and services. Update test procedures and protocols, evaluate the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications, and debug test hardware and software.
  • Support engineering with a variety of moderately complex engineering duties and/or hands-on tasks.
  • Work independently on a weekly basis.
  • Be comfortable with production test fixtures and test instrumentation.
  • Assist in designing, building, and/or procuring new or improved machines, tools, fixtures, and material handling equipment, and coordinate their implementation.
  • Complete process documentation, bill of materials, route sheets, etc.
  • Review process instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, technical problems, and possible solutions.
  • Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified electrical and mechanical components or assemblies for products.
  • Set up and conduct tests of units and components.
  • Analyze test results related to design and test objectives, and adjust equipment to meet specifications.
  • Record test procedures, results, data, and recommendations for changes.
  • Provide and develop documentation to maintain equipment.
  • May lead technician teams or mentor other technicians.
  • Provide hands-on feedback to engineers.
  • Support and promote the organization's mission, values, and culture.
  • Assist in developing plant layouts, manufacturing methods, and process improvements.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
  • Competent technical expertise.

U.S. Citizenship is required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
