Impact You'll Make

The Aero Product Service Engineer provides technical support to global Gas Power customers regarding gas turbine packages and electrical/controls systems. Responsibilities include resolving issues related to Aero gas turbine operations, installation, and commissioning, and assisting in complex investigations. Some travel may be required.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for GE Vernova Aero LM products (TM/LM2500, LM6000, LMS100).
• Prepare and deliver technical documents for customer issue resolution.
• Oversee technical installation and commissioning of new Aero products.
• Ensure timely customer support via Service Now.
• Perform site event analyses and determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Mentor team members on controls/electrical systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or high school diploma/GED with 9 years of gas turbine field service experience.
• Minimum 5 years of field service experience with gas turbines, instrumentation, electrical systems, or troubleshooting.

Eligibility Requirements

• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
• Willing to travel occasionally.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience with GE Vernova Aero turbines or controls systems.
• Knowledge of control systems (Woodward, GE MK6, MK6e, RX3i).
• Understanding of electrical systems, generators, AVR, IGPS.
• Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot electrical and controls issues.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and interacting with customers.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills.

Base pay range: $98,400 - $164,000/year, plus a 10% performance bonus. Geographic differentials may apply.

This position remains open until at least 4/24/2025.
