Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Electrical Engineering Tech II to support HIL & Electronics Automated Test (HEAT) efforts. The role involves instrumenting PCBAs, building test fixtures, and troubleshooting test systems to advance firmware development and hardware validation.

You will work in a fast-paced lab, assemble and repair prototype electronics, and operate diverse test equipment while contributing to data collection and reporting to inform design decisions.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of PCB rework/repair experience.
• Knowledge of test concepts for product development and testing.
• Proficiency with MS Excel for data collection and analysis.
• Ability to troubleshoot circuits and test fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble test fixtures and prototype electronics for test and evaluation in a low volume/high mix environment.
• Repair and rework assemblies to support prototype development and testing.
• Operate SMT/PTH rework equipment (soldering iron, microscopes, hot air)
• Maintain SMT/PTH assembly performance aligned with design complexity.
• Operate lab equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, meters) and collect data.
• Prepare thorough test reports and provide actionable recommendations.
