Job summary

The Baker Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor in Sanford, ME to lead a team of engineers and technicians designing laboratory equipment that protects researchers and advances science.

You will oversee technical direction, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement through Lean practices while coordinating ERP interactions and project management activities.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in an engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years as Electrical Engineer
• Minimum 5 years in technical supervision/management
• Experience with electrical motors and control systems
• Knowledge of regulatory standards including UL/CE

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and development of the Electrical team.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO-9001.
• Develop electrical drawings, schematics, and CAD standards.
• Coordinate ERP interactions and product lifecycle management.
• Monitor KPIs and lead cost center/project reporting.
• Drive Lean initiatives and Kaizen events.
