Job summary

The Baker Company in Sanford, Maine is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers and technicians, guiding design, development, and improvement of laboratory equipment that protects scientists and advances research.

You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with UL/CE and ISO-9001, drive continuous improvement, oversee budgets and KPIs, and coordinate with development and commercial teams on IP and product lifecycle management.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline.
Experience leading an electrical engineering team.
Strong knowledge of motors and machine control systems.
Proficiency in hardware and software development for engineering products.
Familiarity with IP, patents, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Direct supervision of Engineers and Technicians, including hiring and performance management.
Lead safety initiatives and ensure process improvements across departments.
Ensure compliance with ISO-9001, UL, CE, and regional requirements.
Oversee design drawings, schematics, and engineering standards.
Coordinate ERP interactions and product lifecycle management.
