Job summary

Persimmon Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the hardware team designing cutting-edge control solutions for vacuum robots and electromechanical systems. You will balance technical leadership with project management and people development, guiding architectures, testing, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee a team of engineers, manage budgets and milestones, and coordinate with cross-functional groups to deliver next‑generation products on time.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of handson electronics design experience with supervisory/management exposure.
• Experience leading hardware/electrical engineers in hightech product development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers with performance coaching.
• Plan resources to meet tight deadlines and budgets.
• Collaborate across mechanical, software, and controls teams for integrated designs.
• Approve system architectures and specifications based on market and customer needs.
• Lead design reviews including schematic capture, PCB layouts, simulations, and thermal management.
• Ensure adherence to power electronics, motor control, and high-speed interfaces standards.
• Manage supplier relationships for PCB layout outsourcing and prototyping.
