Allen Control Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and grow the electrical engineering team. This player‑coach role combines hands‑on technical work in schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware development with strategic leadership to remove obstacles and align with program requirements.

You will work closely with mechanical, firmware, and systems teams to deliver reliable hardware for field deployment, while mentoring engineers and ensuring high standards across power

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electrical engineering with direct management experience.
• Hands‑on expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong depth in power electronics, motor drives, embedded computing, and networking.
• Experience leading in a matrix organization with cross‑functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of electrical engineers across a matrix organization.
• Contribute hands‑on to schematic capture and PCB layout; review designs.
• Drive development in power electronics, motor drives, embedded computing, and networking.
• Partner with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineering to ensure integration.
