Yoh is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager for its Research and Development client in Marietta, Ohio. You will lead a global team of electrical engineers, embedded software engineers, and technicians to drive advanced embedded control platforms.

The role demands deep experience in firmware, hardware, sensing, and control algorithms, plus a track record with regulated industries and full product lifecycle leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Masters degree preferred.
• 5+ years leading embedded hardware and software teams.
• 3+ years designing embedded control systems for electromechanical products.
• Experience with embedded firmware using C/C++ and real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for embedded firmware, hardware, sensing technologies, communications, and control algorithms.
• Develop scalable, modular control platforms that support future product innovation and platform reuse.
• Lead embedded controls development throughout the complete product developent lifecycle.
• nsure embedded hardware and software designs meet applicable regulatory, safety, and certification requirements including UL, IEC, CE, CSA, and other applicable standards.
• Partner with project managers to develop project schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Masters Degree preferred

Experience Requirements

• Five or more years leading embedded hardware and software engineering teams.
• Three or more years designing and developing embedded control systems for electromechanical products.
• Developing products for regulated industries such as medical devices, laboratory equipment, or industrial controls.
• Experience with embedded firmware development using C/C++.
• Strong understanding of embedded system architecture, microcontrollers, and real-time control systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams through product development.
• Experience developing thermal control systems, refrigeration controls, or other precision electromechanical systems.

Estimated Min Rate: $98000.00
