Job summary

Merlin Labs is hiring an Electrical Engineering Manager/Lead in Boston to guide the electrical architecture of our aircraft autonomy system. You will own planning, priorities, and resource allocation while setting standards and certifiable design practices.

You will oversee hands-on design work when needed and collaborate with software, systems, and certification teams. This role requires 8+ years’ experience and strong leadership in aviation hardware.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems-level electrical design and integration experience in aviation/aerospace.
• 2+ years of direct people management or tech-lead experience with team deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of electrical engineers for the aircraft autonomy system.
• Own technical planning, priorities, resources, and schedules for electrical engineering.
• Establish and improve engineering processes, design standards, and review practices for certifiable designs.
