Job summary

HFA is an employee-owned multidisciplinary architectural, engineering, and interior architecture firm seeking an Electrical Engineering Learning + Development Specialist. The role leads training programs, technical standards, and growth initiatives for MEP teams.

You will collaborate with engineering leadership to create learning experiences that elevate technical excellence, promote consistency across the firm, and support professionals throughout their careers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering trades or equivalent experience.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer or 10+ years of experience.
• Experience developing training programs and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with MEP leaders to assess needs and develop training programs.
• Develop onboarding training for new team members.
• Develop MEP technical standards for consistency across teams.
• Source internal and external expertise to create training programs.
• Collaborate with trainers to align approach and LinkedIn Learning content.
• Interface with discipline leaders to train engineering topics.
• Develop KPIs to measure progression of MEP team members.
• Work with CPO to develop annual training budget.
• Monitor training costs and ROI.
• Coordinate Conferences/Seminars and disseminate knowledge to studio members.
• Work with vendors to source training for new technology.
