Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a student intern in Electrical Engineering to assist in the design and integration of vehicle control and wire harness development. Under close supervision, you will perform engineering calculations and support projects of limited complexity.

You will interact with engineers and suppliers, use Windchill for 3D modeling, and help generate print documentation and change notices.

Qualifications

• Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Willing to work under close supervision on limited complexity projects.

Responsibilities

• Support design and integration of vehicle control and wire harness development.
• Perform engineering calculations and investigations under supervision.
• Select parts for weight, cost, reliability and manufacturability.
• Create thorough print documentation and process change notices.
• Collaborate with internal and supplier teams to solve problems.
• Use Windchill to develop wire harness designs.
