Job summary

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh company, seeks an engineering intern to assist Electrical Engineers in designing and integrating vehicle control/wire harness development. You will perform calculations and tasks under supervision, handling projects of limited complexity and helping select parts for weight, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.

You will use Windchill and analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering field.
GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

Support Electrical Engineers in design and integration of vehicle control and wire harness development.
Perform engineering calculations and tasks under close supervision per industry standards.
Work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
Select parts for weight, cost, reliability and manufacturability.
Assist with change notices, change proposals, and print documentation.
Use Windchill with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses.
Consult with internal teams and external suppliers/customers to solve problems.
Other duties as assigned.
