AV is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for unmanned aircraft and robotics. You will assist in building test equipment, writing software, and troubleshooting across the product development lifecycle.

This role reports onsite to the Petaluma, CA office and offers hands-on experience with cross‑functional teams, mentorship from experienced engineers, and exposure to cutting‑edge aerospace technology for a fast-paced

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Projects or coursework in power electronics, embedded systems, or digital/analog design.
• Familiarity with I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN, LVDS and at least one programming language (C/C++, C#).
• Interest in aerospace/defense or robotics and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in design, development, and troubleshooting of test equipment for PCBAs, subsystems, and full systems.
• Develop and deploy test software to support hardware integration and validation.
• Maintain and upgrade test systems used during production.
• Participate in test plan creation, requirements documentation, and validation strategies.
• Assist in executing tests on power systems, avionics, and propulsion components.
• Learn engineering best practices, processes, and documentation standards.
• Support hardware bring‑up, test station calibration, and system verification.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers.
