RTX is seeking an engineering student for an onsite internship/co-op to assist with hardware design and certification activities in Rockford, IL. You will diagnose issues in hardware from factory or field and perform lab testing to support qualification.

You will gain real-world experience in aerospace hardware design practices, certification considerations, and team collaboration as part of a dynamic design group.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major and enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with design engineering.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
