Job summary

RTX invites students and early-career engineers to explore aerospace challenges at our Jupiter, FL site. You will work onsite on propulsion data analysis, product-focused engineering, and cross-functional teamwork.

You will use Python for data processing, collaborate with engineering teams, and leverage O365, Visio, MS Teams, and Visual Studio to support projects. This internship/co-op offers hands-on experience and a pathway to full-time opportunities within RTX.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an engineering or physics degree program and actively enrolled through the internship/co-op period.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience using Python for data processing and data science.
• Familiarity with O365 tools, Visio, MS Teams and Visual Studio.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge of data science fundamentals, including data processing, statistics, and analyzing data for meaningful insights.

• Familiarity with GitHub/ZenHub for software versioning and project management.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
