Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2027! The intern will work under the direct supervision of Electrical Engineers and will be exposed to a variety of projects across facilities design and construction management from inception through delivery.

Responsibilities include assisting engineers and CAD Designers with project design documents, and helping develop department procedures and drawing standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering as a sophomore or junior status.
• Proficient in MSOffice suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple assignments; work independently; communicate and interface effectively while working in a team environment
• Assist engineers and CAD Designers with completing project design documentation, calculations, research, CAD drawings and/or reports
• Assist engineers in developing standard operational department procedures and drawing standards and details
• Assist project engineers and CAD Designers in preparing project cost estimates, reports and design documents
• Assist engineers in preparation of final reports, department procedures, techniques and standards
