Job summary

Cushing Terrell in Denver, CO is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting our electrical team on real client projects. Qualifications

Completion of 3+ years of an electrical engineering or related undergraduate program.
Basic knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt.
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with team members across disciplines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the design of electrical systems, including low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution.
Build Revit and AutoCAD skills through hands-on electrical design work.
Learn and apply building codes and safety standards to project design.
Complete individually tailored training sessions on electrical systems design, lighting, and emerging technologies.
Coordinate with engineering teams across disciplines on active projects.
Attend site visits with project leads when opportunities allow.
Gain exposure to the variety of project types and teams across the firm.
