Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern in Billings, MT to support our Electrical Engineering team on real client projects. Qualifications

• Completion of 3+ years of an electrical engineering undergraduate program.
• Basic knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of electrical systems, including low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution.
• Build Revit and AutoCAD skills through hands-on electrical design work.
• Learn and apply building codes and safety standards to project design.
• Complete individually tailored training sessions on electrical systems design, lighting, and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with engineering teams across disciplines on active projects.
• Attend site visits with project leads when opportunities allow.
• Gain exposure to the variety of project types and teams across the firm.
