Job summary

VAA LLC is seeking two Electrical Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 to work with the Electrical team on real projects that power large industrial facilities. You will assist with design, calculations, drawings and documentation, and gain exposure to power distribution, lighting, grounding and circuit design.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in electrical systems, power and industrial facilities.
• Curiosity, a positive attitude and a willingness to jump in and learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical design, calculations, drawings and project documentation.
• Gain exposure to power distribution, lighting, grounding and circuit design.
• Learn and use electrical engineering software and design tools.
• Work alongside engineers and designers on real client projects.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, structural, general arrangement and other VAA disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings and get out of the office for site visits.
