Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern to support standard engineering tasks and update designs within the Transmission & Distribution market in Puerto Rico. You will assist with data collection, analysis, and presentations while contributing to project work under lead engineers.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program (ABET preferred) with a minimum 3.0 GPA and strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a related program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions and ad hoc projects.
• Collect and analyze data to support continuous improvement.
• Present solutions to project concerns and collaborate with managers.
• Contribute to research and problem solving for project issues.
