Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking an Electrical Student Intern for our Denver, CO office to gain hands-on experience in power, lighting, control, and communications systems on diverse projects. You will study drawings, perform calculations, coordinate with vendors, and assist senior engineers during field visits and design tasks.

Qualifications include enrollment in a BSEE program (ABET-accredited), a GPA of 3.0+, and eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in BSEE degree program at ABET-accredited university.
  • Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing BS in Electrical Engineering.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be able to work legally in the United States for an unlimited time without sponsorship.
  • Local to the Denver area.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of electrical power, lighting, control and communications systems for building and site projects.
  • Study drawings and specifications, perform and check calculations, coordinate information with vendors.
  • Attend field site visits and support engineers on design tasks such as modeling and wiring diagrams.
  • Work independently on tasks and seek guidance from experienced engineers.
