Job summary

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree in progress (Bachelors or Masters).
Enrollment as EE student in ABET-accredited program is expected.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and verify as-built drawings.
Perform field investigations.
Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.
Collaborate on design coordination, schedules and deliverables.
Perform feasibility studies.
Prepare schematic designs.
Design electrical systems including ports/harbors electrification and EV charging.
Develop reports and design documents (electrical plans, equipment selection, solar sizing, power analyses).
Participate on project teams in active production.
Energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE.
Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules.
Design lighting and controls.
Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
Perform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination studies using ETAP/SKM.
