Job summary

Talanto in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for a paid summer program. You will support design, analysis, and documentation for electrical systems in building projects, collaborating with a team of engineers and clients.

The internship spans 10–12 weeks with hands-on project work and cross-disciplinary exposure. The role requires at least 2 years toward a BS in Electrical Engineering, familiarity with CAD/BIM, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required.
• Previous exposure to CAD and/or BIM software.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written form.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects related to electrical systems according to code and standards.
• Assist with engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings.
• Assist with maintaining client relations, project notebooks, and documentation for permanent records.
