Job summary

DLR Group's Kansas studio is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for the EPX program. This paid, full-time summer internship runs May 18 through August 6, 2027, with opportunities to contribute to electrical design for building projects and to learn through hands-on team mentorship.

Applicants should have completed at least one year in an ABET-accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering program and have BIM experience (Revit MEP). FE exam is a plus; this role is not remote.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least one year in an ABET-accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering program.
• Experience or interest in BIM workflows (Autodesk Revit MEP).
• FE exam is a plus and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a licensed engineer on designing electrical systems for buildings.
• Attend design team meetings and observe multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Assist with design and development of construction documents using Revit; support site visits as applicable.
