IMEG Corp in New York, NY invites applications for an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 10–12 week summer program. You will assist in designing electrical systems, perform analyses, and conduct site observations under experienced engineers.

You’ll coordinate across disciplines and contribute to project documentation and client communications. The role offers mentorship, hands-on project work, and a clear path to full-time roles.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years completed.
• Experience with CAD/BIM preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with designing electrical system portions of projects according to code and IMEG standards.
• Support engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings.
• Research commercially available equipment for project use.
• Help maintain client relations, project design notebooks, and documentation for permanent record files.
• Coordinate design and schedule activities with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment supplier teams.
• Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while monitoring project design progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy.
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness prior to requesting a final check.
• Assist with preparation and issuance of addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and support other services required by the contract services agreement.
