Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in a hybrid role. The position offers collaboration with experienced engineers and exposure to meaningful projects across building and facility electrical design.

The internship supports CAD design, field surveys, and construction documentation, with guidance from senior staff. Candidates should be pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree and expect to engage for at least three months.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
• Working toward professional engineering credential considered a bonus.
• Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support building and facility electrical design under mentorship.
• Produce single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring drawings, and layouts.
• Prepare construction documents with Senior Engineer guidance.
• Assist in cost proposals and change orders for projects.
• Coordinate with railway clients, utility reps, and internal teams.
