Job summary

STV, Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. This hybrid role blends office work with on-site collaboration and mentorship from senior engineers.

You will support building and facility electrical design, CAD tasks, field surveys, and power-system calculations, contributing to transit terminals and municipal facilities while gaining practical experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Support and be mentored in all aspects of building and facility electrical design.
• Conduct field surveys, calculations, and computer-aided design (CAD) tasks.
• Prepare power systems AC and DC single-line diagrams, metering and relaying schematics, wiring drawings, and equipment layouts.
• Design grounding grids, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Assist in preparing technical and cost proposals, and change orders.
• Interface with railway clients, utility representatives, and STV departments.
