Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for the Federal Buildings team in St. Louis, MO. You will be mentored by Professional Engineers, applying theory to design and solution development for local and world-wide clients.

You will assist with engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications while coordinating with other trades to ensure accuracy and timely delivery under supervision. This role emphasizes learning and collaboration in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Enrollment in ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program.
• Completion of at least two years of collegiate coursework.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications for federal projects.
• Coordinate with other trades (architectural and engineering) under supervision.
• Progress from basic design work to more complex projects with a technical team.
