Job summary

P2S|CMTA offers a Summer Internship in Electrical Engineering for students currently enrolled in an accredited university. The 10-12 week program provides hands-on experience within the Electrical Engineering team across office and project sites, with opportunities to work on real client projects.

The internship emphasizes learning through design, prototyping, testing, and documentation, with mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to CAD/BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• FE/EIT is a plus.
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Contribute to design by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Participate in prototyping activities to test design concepts.
• Support testing and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain project documentation and generate progress reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in meetings.
• Engage in training sessions to enhance technical skills.
• Seek opportunities for continuous learning in engineering field.
