Job summary

Flint Hills Resources (FHR) invites electrical engineering students to join our Summer 2027 Intern program at the Corpus Christi refinery. You will gain hands-on experience with high/low voltage equipment, instrumentation, transmitters and control loops while working on real projects and learning how reliability and troubleshooting drive plant performance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year Electrical Engineering program.
• Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Tackle real-life projects focusing on reliability, performance and troubleshooting of high/low voltage electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Receive mentorship and work on assigned individual projects during the 12-week program.
• Participate in weekly learning sessions, location-specific programming and professional development.
