Job summary

Flint Hills Resources (FHR), a Koch company, invites driven students to join our Summer 2027 Environmental Intern program at the Rosemount, MN refinery. You will gain hands-on experience handling environmental regulations, permitting, monitoring, sampling, and data analysis while working under mentors in a real refinery setting.

The 12-week internship includes location-specific programming and professional development aimed at preparing you for a career in environmental engineering within Koch

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4 year degree program majoring in Environmental Engineering or Science, Chemical Engineering or other related science, engineering, or environmental field.
• Eligible for full-time employment during or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on real-life projects and learn about environmental regulations and permitting.
• Assist with monitoring, sampling, and data analysis/management.
• Work with mentors and complete individual projects during the 12-week internship program.
