Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support hardware design, development, integration, and testing within a multidisciplinary team at our Torrance location.

The role offers hands-on experience across the full hardware development lifecycle, including schematic updates, test procedure support, and BOM management, working closely with experienced engineers.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • GPA 3.1 minimum; transcripts may be requested during review.
  • Understanding of high-speed digital/analog circuitry, power management, and EMI.
  • Familiarity with conventional and advanced manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hardware design, development, integration, and testing under guidance of senior engineers.
  • Help create or update schematics.
  • Support generation or revision of test procedures.
  • Assist board bring-up activities and draft/test plans; document results.
  • Produce test reports and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to solve design challenges.
