Mercury Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op in Gulf Breeze, FL, to join our hardware engineering team. You will gain hands-on experience across the full hardware development lifecycle and contribute to ruggedized hardware for commercial, defense, and intelligence applications.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and gain exposure to design, testing, and environment validation, with opportunities to learn and contribute to manufacturing and documentation processes.

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Support design, development, testing, and validation of electrical hardware and systems
• Contribute to schematic design, layout, verification, system integration, and optimization of hardware
• Design and test complex circuits using Allegro Design Entry HDL and Mentor Graphics tools
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, Software, and Procurement teams
• Support design-for-manufacturing/assembly/test initiatives
• Assist with lab activities including board bring-up, debugging, validation, and environmental testing (EMC, thermal, power, ESS)
• Support production by investigating manufacturing issues and field failures
• Draft test plans, reports, ECRs, and technical documentation
• Assist with prototype material procurement and Bills of Material management
• Assist in designing fixtures for advanced manufacturing
