Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Electrical Engineering Intern in Naperville, IL for a 10–12 week summer program. You will assist in design, analysis, and oversight of electrical systems for building projects, working with a team of experienced engineers on real project work.

The internship includes documentation, coordination, and site observations across education, government, and healthcare settings, with mentorship and potential path to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• No prior internship experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects related to electrical systems according to codes and IMEG standards.
• Research commercially available equipment.
• Support client relations and document project progress.
• Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines and suppliers.
• Document design decisions and meetings, monitor progress.
• Prepare and issue addendum information and perform site observations.
